My Ford position is a bet on American manufacturing, but I'm not sure what that means anymore. BYD outsold them in 2025, a Chinese EV maker beating Ford globally. Tariffs were supposed to protect us, but Ford's paying $2B annually in tariff costs and just took a surprise $900M hit. Meanwhile they're promising affordable EVs by 2027. BYD's already there. I'm genuinely confused watching this play out. Someone explain the logic to me.
